Here's a list of some things we did for Christmas this year, (some are old traditions, some are new.)
1. A real Christmas Tree (decorated with more Nebraska ornaments then I'd care to admit).
2. Festival of Lights in Las Gatos, via a limo with Cider and the Cordovas.
3. 8:30am Christmas mass, dubbed the worst musical mass in hisotry by Doris.
4. 18th in line at Starbucks.
5. Ham, Turkey, and Tri-Tip
6. "Love Actually."
7. Polly the Elf joined the family.
8. Disney Christmas Pardade, a few times.
9. A real log burning fire---ahhh love the small.
We were joined by John, Martha, Grandma Chaput and The Bensings for a lovely and relaxing Christmas. This year I get to take part in a "Company Shut Down" and spend a week with the kids. I'm sure that it will take me at least that long to get all the Christmas boxes sorted for the recyclers.
The ongoing story of two little clowns, Luca Elizabeth and Harper Collins-who make life fun, interesting, and blessed every moment. Enjoy the ride.

Burlingame is a wonderful town up North that Aunt Moe told us about. You can catch the train in Mountain View and ride the train to this cute little town. When the train stops, you can head right and there is a gigantic park for the kids with water, sand and plenty to do. If you head left when you get off the train there is a cute downtown area with tons of stores from Sephora to Baby Coulture. We took the kids this weekend and made a day picnic of it, complete with icecream. Luca was very concerned about Harper getting hurt on the big kid equipment at the park, but as you can see, we ended up injury free. To note, both kids fell asleep on the trainride home.

Halloween was a bit different this year, the main difference was.........sunny skies and sunny, warm beautiful weather. We had a great time at the neighborhood block party, as well as, trick or treating on the posh streets of Aunt Moe's place. Luca was much easier to photograph then little Harps, but as you can see, even Justin and I got into the spirit. In case you cannot tell from my kickin costume, I was the queen of Frost. Trick or Treat.

It's October.....and it's almost over!
I'm not entirely sure where the month of October has gone. All I know is that if I see another cardboard box that needs to be unpacked, I might go nuts. We spent most of this month getting settled into our new house. While small, I think it is going to be great. Luca's closet is so big that she calls it her "dressing room." The neighborhood is really nice. According to California standards, we have a huge yard. Justin's project will be to make it actual grass and not dirt and rocks. I will hand it to the kids, though, they can find anywhere and anything to keep them busy. Here are some random photos that include our trip to the Palo Alto Junior Discover Museum.
