Overdue Update

Without realizing it, I see that it's been a bit since we last posted. I wish I could say that we have been enjoying the warm sun, but that's hardly the case. With the harsh winter winds, it's been proving to be a challenging month. At the end of this week, however, we were blessed with a warm front. Luca took this as a chance to go sledding before the snow melted. Grandma Bond even took Harper out for a few minutes to enjoy the weather.
Earlier this week we got to spend time with the Martin family. Luca was obsessed with Scarlet, as the pictures prove. We enjoyed their company very much and vowed to do it more often.
As for Justin and I, we got out this past weekend and went to see Mary Poppins at the Orpheum. Justin said I looked like a little kid that just hit the candy jackpot. I was very entertained and impressed, what an incredible show. Justin, who is a harsh critic, even enjoyed the performance. When Luca is a bit older, this will be a must see.
Here's to an early spring. xoxoxox

Justin's sister, Jen, and I had every intention of doing a 6 month photo shoot with Harper, but time go away from us. On Sunday we attempted to get a few shots of Harps. Sadly, her ears were bothering her too much that she didn't want to show any smiles. We decided that we would try another day. As always, Jen did get a couple of cute ones of the girls. Luca decided she was not having her picture taken before we left the house and to prove it put on her beloved pajamas. In usual Luca style, she was a ham.

Girls and Dolls

I'm not certain, but I'm pretty sure that this is Luca's doll Lanie. It has gone from Rebecca to just about everything and then finally back to Lanie. Whatever her name is, she is pretty special. Tonight for dinner I noticed Luca ate only half of her bread, when asked why, she replied "That's for my doll." I looked over and sure enough the doll had a half a slice of bread. For those of you just dying to know, no this is not an American Girl Doll, except to Luca. Thank you Grandma Chaput, Luca loves the pajamas.

Old Man Winter

Due to the temperatures and primarily the wind chill, we have been camped out at home for the past few weekends. Luckily, Luca was able to take her baby out long enough to give her a frozen head. I cannot say the same for Harps, who was outside for about 2 minutes.

Tubby Time

Luca (as a baby) and the bathtub = crying. Harper and the bathtub = crying (only because you're taking her out. Harps has a great time splashing and playing in the water.
